THE TRUST EXERCISE [ 00 — 04 ]
The chain was working. Trust wasn't.
A guided investigation into the human, operational and technical failures behind crypto's most consequential security incidents.

CASE / BYBIT · SIGNING INTERFACE
The approval looked familiar.
Investigators reported that a compromised signing interface misrepresented a transaction to signers. A valid signature did not mean the operation shown was the operation executed.
CASE STUDY / 2025
CASE 17 / BYBIT
When the signing screen lied.
A compromised signing interface reportedly showed authorized signers a misleading view of a transaction. The keys worked as designed; the trust boundary around them did not.

CASE FILES / 2011—2026
The breach is the beginning.
Each record separates what happened, what failed, and what the evidence can—and cannot—support.
LOSS ESTIMATES ARE APPROXIMATE. AFFECTED VALUE, STOLEN FUNDS AND PERMANENT LOSSES ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE.
TABLETOP / 01ISOLATED SCENARIO · NO RPC · NO TRANSACTIONS
SIMULATOR / TRUST BOUNDARY
Read the transaction. Not the screen.
A fictional signing-room exercise. Nothing is deployed, broadcast, or connected to a chain.
SCENARIO / 01WALLET CHANGE REQUEST
THE ROOM
Three signers are asked to approve a routine treasury transfer. Two verify the recipient on a shared web screen. The third sees a different contract address on an independent device. The amount is within the normal daily limit.

ACCESS / HOLD ≥ 1 HPRF
Connect a wallet holding at least 1 HPRF to enter the exercise.
LOCAL LAB / 02RUNS IN THIS TAB · NO SOURCE UPLOAD
AUDITOR / SOURCE-TEXT MARKER
Inspect a few known surfaces.
A tiny browser-side marker demo—not Slither, not a smart-contract audit, and not a safety verdict.
MODE / LOCAL TEXT ONLY
IDLE / NO SOURCE ANALYZED
NO RESULT YET — This demo reports text matches only.
MATCHES ARE REVIEW PROMPTS, NOT CONFIRMED VULNERABILITIES. NO MATCHES DO NOT MEAN A CONTRACT IS SAFE. THIS DEMO HAS NO SOLIDITY PARSER, COMPILER, OR SLITHER INTEGRATION.
ACCESS / HOLD ≥ 1 HPRF
Connect a wallet holding at least 1 HPRF to enter the local lab.

PROOFS / SHA-256
Integrity has a fingerprint.
Calculate a SHA-256 digest locally to compare artifacts. A hash proves equality of bytes—not authorship, safety, or audit quality.

FIELD NOTES / HOW TO READ THIS TERMINAL
Evidence before assurance.
This project is an educational prototype. These notes mark the line between what works here and what would require a real service.
01 / ARCHIVE
Historical, not live.
Incident summaries are editorial and figures are approximate. Reported loss, exposed value, frozen assets and eventual recovery are distinct. Follow each linked source and its caveats.
02 / WALLET
Read, never held.
Browser wallets are discovered with EIP-6963. Connecting asks for your address only, never a signature. A transaction is sent only when you buy or sell HPRF, after it simulates cleanly over a public Robinhood Chain RPC.
03 / AUDITOR
Text markers, not an audit.
The local lab searches source text for a few literal patterns. It has no Solidity parser, Slither, compiler, RPC, backend, sandbox, or complete vulnerability coverage.
04 / PRIVACY
Local by design.
The source marker and digest tools run in the current browser tab. This static prototype has no analytics or network scanner. A browser page cannot promise complete privacy from the host environment.
05 / ACCESS
1 HPRF unlocks everything.
Access depends only on balanceOf(your address) on Robinhood Chain, re-read every 12 seconds. No lock, no burn, no subscription. Sell below 1 HPRF and the tools lock again; a failed balance read locks them until the next successful one.
06 / REPORTING
No safety guarantee.
A clean scan, a valid hash, a returned asset or a signed transaction cannot establish that a system is secure. Independent verification and context still matter.
TOKEN / $HPRF / PRE-LAUNCH
HPRF IS PONS V2'S OWN LAUNCHER TOKEN: FIXED 1,000,000,000 SUPPLY, NO MINT, NO OWNER, NO BLACKLIST. EVERY FIGURE ABOVE IS READ FROM THE CHAIN.
